12 Questions to Ask Before Saying Kobul

Relationship Advice

Chatting is where you find out whether the person behind the profile is someone you could build a life with. These twelve questions help you talk about what really matters, gently and without making it feel like an interview.

About everyday life

  1. What does a normal weekday look like for you?
  2. Where would you like to live after marriage, and would you consider moving?
  3. How do you like to spend your weekends and holidays?

About family

  1. How involved are your parents in your decisions today?
  2. Would you like to live with or near your family after marriage?
  3. What role do you see for each of us in looking after our parents?

About values and faith

  1. What part does faith play in your daily life?
  2. What values would you want our home to be built on?

About work and money

  1. How do you see both of our careers after marriage?
  2. How do you like to manage money: saving, spending and supporting family?

About the future

  1. How do you feel about children, and when?
  2. When you disagree with someone close to you, how do you usually resolve it?

A few tips

Ask one or two questions at a time, and share your own answers too. Listen for honesty more than "perfect" answers. If something important doesn't feel right, it's better to say so early and kindly than to discover it later.

On Bolo Kobul, chat opens once you've both accepted a 2nd Kobul, and your phone number stays private until you choose to share it.
