Bolo Kobul is a matrimonial service for adults in Bangladesh and around the world. We have
zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse
material (CSAM), and for any attempt to involve a child in marriage. These standards apply to our website and to
the Bolo Kobul app.
1. Adults only
Every member, and every person a profile is created for, must be 18 or older.
A profile cannot be created with a date of birth under 18.
Members verify their identity with a national ID card (NID) or passport, which our team checks.
Any account we find belongs to, or was created for, someone under 18 is removed.
2. What is never allowed
Sharing, requesting or linking to child sexual abuse material of any kind.
Sexualising, grooming, contacting or soliciting anyone under 18.
Arranging, promoting or seeking a marriage for anyone below the legal age of marriage, including
under Bangladesh's Child Marriage Restraint Act 2017.
Trafficking or any form of exploitation of children.
3. How we keep children safe
Age checks at sign-up and identity document review.
Nobody can send a private message until both members have accepted each other.
Report & Block on every profile, with a dedicated Under 18 or child safety concern reason.
A safety team that reviews reports, profiles, photos and reported conversations.
4. How to report a concern
In the app or on the website: open the profile, tap the three-dot menu (⋮), choose
Report & Block and select Under 18 or child safety concern.
By email:support@bolokobul.com
with the subject "Child safety concern". You do not need an account to report.
If a child is in immediate danger: call the national emergency number 999
in Bangladesh, or the child helpline 1098, or your local emergency number.
5. What we do when we receive a report
Child safety reports are treated as urgent and reviewed the same day, and always within 24 hours.
We remove the content and suspend or delete the accounts involved.
We keep the relevant evidence securely, as the law requires.
We report apparent child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the appropriate authorities, including
law enforcement in Bangladesh and the relevant national or international reporting bodies, and we cooperate
with their investigations.
6. Following the law
Bolo Kobul complies with the child safety laws that apply to us, including the Child Marriage Restraint Act 2017
and the Pornography Control Act 2012 of Bangladesh, and the laws of the other countries where our service is used.
